To get maximum battery life and Bluetooth range, charge your band overnight or for at least an hour.
If you have one Immutouch band, wear it on your dominant hand. If you have two, wear one on each wrist.
Make sure the band is securely fit on your wrist so that as you turn your wrist, the band turns with it. Remember to put your bracelet on the same hand each time you wear it, with the buckle pointing the same direction.
The app will now start searching for an Immutouch band in nearby bluetooth range. Make sure your phone is within 2 feet of your wristband.
You will see a band that says “Immutouch Band #1”. Tap the Setup button next to it to start calibrating your band.
If you see more than one band, setup each band one at a time.
Calibrating is the process of training your wristband to recognize your specific hand positions when touching your face. You should create at least one touch point for each position your hand could be in (eyes, mouth, nose).
You will be touching your face to calibrate the wristband. Make sure it is clean!
Bring your hand to your mouth, nose, or eye. The order does not matter. Hold your hand still because your wristband responds to your hand's orientation, not your movement.
Tap "Add Touch Point" button while holding this position. This records the position. Any time your hand stays in this position too long, your wristband will vibrate. After the first vibration, each future vibration will be stored in your phone's records.
For example if you touched your left eye, name the touch point “Left eye”. You can tweak the name and sensitivity of a calibration by tapping on the calibration.
Repeat steps 2 - 4 for each part of your face you want to detect touching. We suggest doing at least one calibration for your mouth, nose, and each eye.
